A professional-grade sun protection emulsion from Bijou de Mer that goes far beyond basic UV defense. Formulated with seven broad-spectrum UV filters and a comprehensive suite of marine bioactives, this sunscreen doubles as a skincare treatment — protecting, brightening, calming, and conditioning the skin all day.
Removable with regular face wash or body soap. No special cleansing required.

Advanced UV Protection System
Seven UV filters — six chemical absorbers plus one physical scatterer — provide comprehensive broad-spectrum coverage across UVB and UVA wavelengths:
Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate and Ethylhexyl Triazone absorb UVB radiation. Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (Uvinul A Plus) and Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (Avobenzone) target UVA. Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine (Tinosorb S) delivers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and photostabilizes the entire filter system. Octocrylene provides additional UVB/short-UVA absorption and further stabilization. Titanium Dioxide adds a physical scattering layer for reinforced protection.
Biological Photo-Defense
Acetyl Hexapeptide-1 (Melitane™) — A biomimetic peptide that mimics α-MSH to activate the skin’s own melanocortin-1 receptor (MC1R). Supports the skin’s natural photoprotective response by promoting eumelanin synthesis and helping to reduce UV-induced redness. A biological complement to the chemical and physical UV filters.
Brightening Support*
The same brightening trio found in the Beauté Invariante Advanced Eight Serum: Niacinamide, Alpha-Arbutin, and Diglucosyl Gallic Acid work together to help even out skin tone and counter dullness, preventing the uneven pigmentation that can result from UV exposure.
*Helps reduce the appearance of dullness caused by dryness and supports a clearer-looking complexion.

Carnosine and Tocopherol deliver antioxidant defense. (Arginine/Lysine) Polypeptide and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid contribute to hydration and skin conditioning.

Soft-Focus Finish
Boron Nitride, Mica, Silica, Barium Sulfate, and Tin Oxide create a refined soft-focus effect that diffuses light, visually smoothing the skin’s surface. The lightweight emulsion texture absorbs without white cast or greasiness, making it comfortable as a makeup base.

How to Use
